Project Aim
The £34M project aims to start improving economic prosperity by supporting new ways of learning
in schools, from as young as 10 years old. The main emphasis is on skills in Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) to give young people, job seekers and employed staff the competitive
advantages they need to thrive in today’s digital economy.
Virtual College Project Activity
Virtual College is providing training to over 400 teachers to help establish a network of ECDL
mentors who will help with the delivery of ECDL to school children.
